one of the first tracks I ever made, back in Chicago probably 2011. Some of the lyrics are taken from a poem I wrote in 5th grade. I felt this way then, I feel this way now, the cycles and quantum leaps always layering a guttural cry from the very heart of things.

Thank you for supporting as I work on recording and releasing studio versions of my music for the very first time. The world feels better with you in it and I love you.

sometimes i do want to let the rainbows fly
let out the doves to fly higher

oh but it seems so unfair, it seems so unkind
to leave them playing with fire

unprepared
for the pain that waits for them in the cold dark night

these are the questions i ask myself
do i share these visions of the burning

all of these blackhearted people around me
do i have a responsibility to help them?

but one thing leads to another i find
and how quickly i am back to feeling
nothing again

i look all the way around me
i can see for miles and miles

all i see are these hideous visions
nothing for miles but fire, fire

stretching from my eyes
straight to the horizon

over which arches
a beautiful double rainbow

ah, there's your rainbow

the light from the fatal sky
combines with dying breath of fire
smoke and ash
contrive to show us one last

rainbow

one final lovely little rainbow

oh! but is that hope i see
dawning in your eyes?
why that's not what i meant to evoke, at all

i simply wanted to point out
the fickle nature of your rainbow
today it glows just as lovely as ever
indifferent to the suffering below
